A Message from your GBCS Guidance Team

Hello, my name is Jennetta Curry. Together with Ian Whitton, we are the Guidance Counsellors at Georgian Bay Community School. 

On top of the usual work of the guidance team, here at GB we have a Support Team that meets on a weekly basis to discuss individual programming for students.
The team consists of an Administrator, our Learning Resource Teacher, our Student Success Teacher, one of our Board Attendance Counsellors and a Guidance Counsellor. 

Together, we strategize ways for students to continue to be successful in their classes.

The GBCS Guidance counsellor is available by phone or in person to help you plan your classes and pathway as you navigate through high school.  You can also make an appointment to explore post-secondary options and to discuss other issues that arise in your daily lives.
